Our original plan was to stay in the vibrant town of Positano. Instead, we stayed one town over called Praiano. Praiano is just a short drive to Positano in a car, bus, or motorino. It's a lot more quiet and local. It has some really nice restaurants in town, and more down at the cliffs on the beach. There is also direct transfer to Capri from Praiano. There are hotels along the whole coast, you will definitely find something to your liking.

We rented an Airbnbin Praiano. If you plan on driving to the Amalfi Coast this place is perfect because it includes a parking space, which is impossible to find along the road.
