Reasons to go to Italy? History, beauty, etc., etc., but one common factor is FOOD. Some may say that Italian food is overrated, I think those people are short of crazy, but whether you like it in your country, nothing compares to the authentic Italian food in Italy. Here are some recommendation for restaurants around the spectacular Amalfi Coast.
Lo Scoglio delle Sirene Capri
Located over the cute and busy Marina Piccola, Le Sirene is situated between two small beaches overlooking the glamorous yachts and beautiful blue waters of Capri.
The food was good, but there was only one poor waiter taking care of all the tables. The wait time to get our food was a bit longer than I usually like to wait, but if you're ready to just chill and eat in a beautiful place in no rush you will enjoy this little restaurant.

La Cambusa
Positano
It's a little bit of a walk down to the port, but very worth it. Upon arrival you will have a breathtaking view of the buildings crawling up the mountain, the perfect chaos of an Italian port, and lots of restaurants with delicious food. I loved the Cambusa, it was in a perfect location and the food was absolutely delicious.
La Pirata
Praiano
Sitting a couple of meters above the beautiful blue sea in a gorgeous inlet, this little restaurant has a sweet charm, mix the great food and you are guaranteed have a wonderful meal. All the waiters are super sweet and fun. I would recommend going at night, and sitting under the fairy lights. There is also an amazing bar that has been made inside the cave.

It does get windy and a little bit chilly at night, definitely bring a sweater or light jacket. Ladies be careful with your Marilyn Monroe dresses and skirts.

La Pirata
Praiano

Alfonso a Mare
Praiano
An obvious choice when you get to the beach in Praiano, it is the first restaurant you see on the beach. We went as an obvious choice. The atmosphere is very lively and the food is good! The best thing about this restaurant is looking up and seeing the two cliffs on either side of you.
Kasai
Praiano
This was a local recommendation from our Airbnb host. He said it was one of the best, if not the best restaurant in town. The food here is amazing. There was more of a local feel to this restaurant, it was delicious and welcoming. The waiters have a lot of personality and are eager to share their personal favorites with you.

There is barely any parking, walking is the way to go. Also, this restaurant is a local favorite and is always busy. Be sure to call in and reserve, or arrive around opening hour. The chef's menu came recommended too, you get a lot for your money. It was the favorite meal at the table that night.

Il San Pietro di Positano
Positano
Like most restaurants and hotels along the Amalfi Coast, a stunning view and happy taste buds are included as part of the deal. This restaurant is no different, well only that it is a beautiful five star hotel and restaurant with an even more captivating view; perfect for a romantic date. There is a gorgeous courtyard terrace that sits directly on top of a high cliff. The restaurant is gorgeous and very elegant.

*Note: Since this is on the fancier side of things, dress code is important. Men, long pants and appropriate shoes and shirts are required in order to be seated
Ristorante Garden
Ravello
Sitting a couple of meters above the beautiful blue sea in a gorgeous inlet, this little restaurant has a sweet charm, mix the great food and you are guaranteed have a wonderful meal. All the waiters are super sweet and fun. I would recommend going at night, and sitting under the fairy lights. There is also an amazing bar that has been made inside the cave.

This little town is further from the sea than the other ones, but the view is still straight off a postcard. The restaurant has a great view, the food was alright, and the service was alright. The view and location is the best thing about this restaurant.
