

Italy has quickly become a must-see destination for people around the world. Everything from backpackers to families to honeymooners. Within this one amazing country there are so many places to see and experiences to be had; even just in Tuscany. So without further ado let me walk you through my Tuscan itinerary.
*Note: this is for a week in Tuscany including the Tuscan countryside, Siena, and Florence. I will be posting a downloadable itinerary soon.
day 1
Arrived to Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP) from Miami (MIA) on Alitalia.
Caught the train, Freccia Rossa to Florence.
Taxi to the airport in Florence (Peretola) to Hertz Car rental.

Rented a car and drove to Siena.
day 2
Tour of Antinori Vineyard and lunch at the Vineyard (40 minute drive from Siena).

Return for dinner in Siena.
day 3
Drove to the Abbey of Sant'Antimo in Montalcino. Stopping at sunflower fields along the way.
​
Drove to the town of Montalcino and climbed the castle tower.
​
day 4
Climbed the Torre del Mangia in Siena.
Then drove through the Val d'Orcia to Pienza. Also stopping along the way to see the sunflower fields.
​
Spent the evening in Siena.
day 5
Went horseback riding in the Tuscan countryside on our way back to Florence.
​
Returned rental car in Florence.
Aperitivo and dinner on rooftop in Florence.
day 6
Visited Il Duomo di Firenze and Galleria dell'Academia.
​
Walked along the Arno, had lunch and ice cream.
​
Aperitivo on another rooftop and dinner in Buca Mario.
day 7
Visit the Palazzo Vecchio and did some shopping.
​
Caught the train back to Milan.
