things to do
overall
Busy, busy, busy resort. We made great friends there from all over the world and met them later on our trip. Swimming with the manta rays is a really special opportunity that makes this place worth it. We stayed for 3 days/nights, it was a good amount of time.
cleanliness
The rooms were cleaned everyday and the beds were made. The bathrooms are long drops, it sounds worse than it is. They didn't smell, and were clean. The dorms and bathrooms are co-ed.
staff
The staff was great, really helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff and the owners were the only exception to the wondeful people working there. The reception, bar tenders, cleaning, and activity staff were great!
Swimming with the manta rays is the main attraction here, and it's absolutely worth it. Getting to swim with them is incredible. There are also several dives offered for all levels. There is an amazing reef right off the beach with so much life, be careful and don't touch the coral. You can't snorkel at low tide, but you can walk around the island and it's a beautiful walk; there is lots of life in the rock formations to see. There is volleyball and pizza in the evening. Check the activities board everyday to see what's available.
price
For such great/clean dorms the price is perfect. The activities are very fairly priced. The food seemed expensive for what we got.
entertainment/nightlife
The beach bar and lounge area is great for a drink and little party. It's not a club vibe, you can take control of the music and create your own party. There is a big TV where lots of games are shown.
food
Food quality was average. It took a long time for our food to come out, often others were eating dessert and we hadn't received our main course when we ordered at the same time. The staff in the restaurant often seemed fed up. When we got the food it didn't taste great. The location of the restaurant is a beautiful ocean view.
amenities
Our showers were outside (I don't know where the Bure showers are, they might be the same). They are great! There are four available, I never had to wait. Each shower is half inside and half outside. They are clean and spacious. There are benches and hooks for your towels and clothes. You need to rent towels (beach and shower) if you didn't bring your own. There is no shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. provided. *Bure: little house or bungalow
location
shopping
Doesn't exist on this island. There is no mini-market or shop. The bar however sells snacks and drinks all day, there is a pizza hour in the afternoon before dinner.
The location is great. In the middle of the Yasawa Islands. It is accessible by boats, the ferry, and sea planes.
room variety
There are dorms and different types of bures (little bungalows) available.
